Lazy DragonTerms of use

These terms govern use of Lazy Dragon, an app for managing characters, campaigns and role-playing activities. The current beta version is free and may evolve based on experience with the service.
Operator and service
Lazy Dragon is operated by Gabriele Treglia, who can be contacted at lazydragonded@gmail.com. The app provides player and Master tools, saving and synchronisation, personal creations, social features and campaign sharing. External donations are optional and do not purchase features, content rights or service levels.
Account and security
Restricted features require an account. Use an email address you control, choose an identity that does not impersonate others and protect your credentials and devices. If you choose Google, sign-in is also subject to that service's terms; Lazy Dragon does not request your Google password.
Do not share your account, and report unrecognised access to lazydragonded@gmail.com. Roles and invitations grant access only to the intended functions: they do not authorise access to others' data or bypassing security controls.
Permitted use
Use the app lawfully and with respect for others. Do not submit or link content that infringes privacy, copyright or other rights; do not use the service for harassment, impersonation, malware distribution, unauthorised access attempts or traffic that disrupts operation.
Character and adventure data is intended for play. Avoid unnecessary real personal data, particularly sensitive information or third-party data without a legitimate basis. For images linked by URL, you must have the necessary rights and comply with the host's terms.
Your content and sharing
You retain the rights you hold in characters, text, notes, images and personal creations. By providing content, you authorise the operator to store it, process it technically, copy it for synchronisation and security and display it to recipients you choose, solely to provide the relevant service functions. This permission does not transfer ownership or grant a general licence to publish, sell or distribute your content under Creative Commons.
Friendships, invitations, joining campaigns, shared tabletop views and sharing actions make the data provided by each feature visible. A Master may access characters linked to their campaign according to the app's rules. Review sharing before confirming it: copies or information already received by others cannot always be recalled through the app.
SRD and third-party materials
Attributions and the terms of the respective materials are provided on the Credits and licences page. The CC BY 4.0 licence for SRD 5.1 material does not automatically extend to the entire app, users' creations or other authors' materials. La Notte Eterna content retains its own provenance and applicable permissions.
Lazy Dragon is an independent project, not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast. Estimates and generators are project tools, not a complete official implementation of the rulebooks.
Calculations, results and exports
Automation covers functions described by the app and may require choices or manual handling. Encounter and treasure estimates do not guarantee a session's outcome. The group and Master remain responsible for decisions at the table; report errors or unexpected behaviour to the operator.
Available functions let you export character copies; PDFs use the latest saved version. Keep copies of important content and check data before importing or sharing files. Offline mode provides a reference copy and does not guarantee it includes subsequent online changes.
Availability and service changes
The beta may involve errors, interruptions, maintenance and changes to features. No continuous or specific level of availability is promised. For material changes affecting access or content retention, we will provide reasonable notice where possible, except for urgent security needs or legal obligations.
Links to Google, Discord, PayPal, image hosts and other external services lead to services with their own terms and availability. Check their information before using them.
Suspension and closure
The operator may limit or suspend access for abuse, security risks or violations of these terms, using proportionate measures. Where compatible with security and applicable obligations, the operator will explain the reason and allow requests for clarification.
You may stop using the service and request account closure or data deletion at lazydragonded@gmail.com. Deactivation is not permanent deletion; retention criteria and rights are described in the privacy notice.
Liability and mandatory rights
These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limit mandatory rights, including consumer and personal-data rights. Disputes remain subject to applicable rules and the jurisdiction provided by law.
Updates to these terms
The date on this page identifies the applicable version. Material changes will be communicated through the app or available contact details before taking effect where required. For questions or reports, contact lazydragonded@gmail.com.
